Profiles & sub-profiles
Profiles are the top-level organisational unit in LetsPost. Every social account, post, and analytics report lives inside exactly one profile.
What is a profile?
A profile represents a brand, a client, or a campaign workspace. When you connect a TikTok account or publish a post, you do so inside a specific profile. This keeps your Acme Corp content completely separate from your personal brand's content.
Your plan determines how many profiles you can create (Free: 2 · Starter: 5 · Pro: 20 · Max: unlimited). You can switch between profiles at any time using the profile selector at the top of every dashboard page.
Creating a profile
- Go to Dashboard → Profiles.
- Click New profile.
- Enter a name (e.g., Acme Corp) and optionally upload an avatar.
- Click Create. The new profile becomes your active workspace immediately.
Sub-profiles (profile hierarchy)
On Starter plans and above, you can link two profiles in a parent → child relationship. When you publish a post to the parent profile, LetsPost can automatically fan it out to all linked child profiles according to the inheritance rules you set.
Use cases:
- Regional accounts — Regional accounts — one root profile for "Brand Global" with children for "Brand US", "Brand BR", "Brand EU".
- Campaign workspaces — Campaign workspaces — a parent for your evergreen content and a child specifically for a seasonal campaign.
To link profiles, open the child profile's kebab menu on the Profiles page and choose Link to parent. Select the parent from the dropdown and configure the inheritance rules:
- Auto-repost — Auto-repost — automatically create a post in the child whenever a post is published in the parent.
- Tag prefix — Tag prefix — prepend a hashtag or mention to re-posted captions (e.g., #US).
- Language override — Language override — translate captions using AI before fanout (Pro+).
Renaming and deleting profiles
Click the pencil icon next to any profile name to rename it inline. Renaming has no effect on published posts or analytics.
To delete a profile, click the trash icon and confirm the dialog. Deletion is permanent — all posts, analytics data, and connected accounts inside that profile are removed. Connected social accounts are disconnected but not revoked at the platform level; you can reconnect them to a different profile at any time.
